This is an original Third Reich SS Dagger made sometime in the 1930's. This one is out of the woodwork and as such has not been polished or cleaned up in any way. The dagger shows some obvious ware and other flaws such as the grips that are in pretty rough shape. However the Rune button and Grip Eagle are intact and nice. The blade could easily be cleaned up with a nice polish job. The blade retains all of its original markings. The blade retains its factory edge with a good tip. Good anodized scabbard which I believe is original finish(you may need to determine this with your own research. Given its condition I have priced it at a bargain price. I have seen nice SS daggers recently for $6000 - not even the chained version! Please view the full photo album linked above.
