Here is a rare Puolustuslaitos marked Finnish M39. The Puolustuslaitos mark was the predessor to the SA Finnish stamp, and means "Defense Department". This stamp was only used for 2 months in 1942. This rifle is in even rarer original condition, with a nice original stock with a good cartouche, and original finish on the metal. The bore is good, with strong rifling and plenty of shine. There is a crack in the handguard. The numbers do not match. This is a very nice rifle made in only short numbers. A great collectible in good original condition.
