This is a very nice Imperial Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Rifle with a full mum on the receiver. This is a 12 Series made at Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo). This rifle is in very attractive overall shape with attractive bluing and service wear throughout. The stock is likewise in very attractive condition, showing its battle scars and service use, with a very nice original finish. The bore is actually in very nice condition, with strong lands and grooves and shine throughout. The bolt does not match the receiver. This is a very nice example of a war-time used Type 38 brought home by a GI. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Thanks for looking.
