Here is a nice condition Gewehr 98, converted in World War 2 with a the standard K98k rear sight. The rifle appears to be pieced together, fitted in a Turkish stock, with some dissapointing notes. It has a pretty serious crack on the left side of the action which has been pinned and held together when I shot it. The barrel band needs to be fitted properly, at the moment it is not holding the upper barrel band in place. Other than that it is always nice to find S/42 conversions as they are scarce. The bore is overall good with mild pitting and a little dark. Selling for what I paid for it.
